“On What Grounds” sat on a coffee themed shelf at the local library. My girlfriend and I started taking turns reading it out loud. A year or so later, we’re nearly through the whole series! Hey all I found book 21 of the amazing coffeehouse! No Roast for the Weary When the Village Blend opens a Writer's Block Lounge, a cold case crime turns up the heat on Clare and her crew in this gripping new entry in the beloved Coffeehouse Mystery series from New York Times bestselling author Cleo Coyle. Pain is slightly easing with the news that there is a #21 in the offing at some point...I've been devouring cozy mysteries for the last year, and after several series, I finally happened on Claire, Madame, Matt and the rest. And these are the best of the entire lot. (I lived in NYC for over 20 years, and this feeds those occasional nostalgic city twinges.) Having set these in a wonderful landmark place, you have avoided the "formula" encountered in the others (where you get to a point where there's basically nobody left in town to be murdered). I love that you've done "conventional" murders, a spy thriller, and even a BEE book, for God's sake. And just when it was about to get old, you moved on from the opening stalking stranger. Tried a ghost mystery a couple of years ago and was not hooked...but as I gaze lovingly at my pristine copy of #20--trying not to open it until I just can't stand the wait so that the magic will continue--I'm beginning to think about giving your ghost a try...I'll let you know how that goes. Hi Cleo, as a huge fan of your books and Book 19, Honey Roasted being one of my very favorites I wanted to tell you about something I recently discovered. The Savannah Bee Company in Georgia with stores in Charleston etc sells a wonderful honey roasted coffee. It is roasted by a small roaster in Charleston SC. Now I not only have honey roasted coffee but Billionaire’s Blend from a shop outside Harrisburg PA. Both are superb. Great coffee is the best.Love the books

I just read your April 16, 2024 reply with the news that a 21st Coffeehouse Mystery book will be coming out soon!!! I almost yelled “WOO HOO!!!!” But considering that it’s 2:45am AND considering that one of my cats is snuggled up right next to my head, I thought that a silent celebration within myself might make for a much safer outcome for my vulnerable scalp and face… especially since I do not subscribe to the cruelty that is the declawing of cats. So, I simply allowed my elated heart to do its little happy dance and compact coffee cartwheel (did ya catch it??) inside my chest. I am sincerely SO EXCITED that I have at least one more Clare Cosi story with to look forward to! I hope that there’ll be many, MANY more, but maybe that’s just me… (yeah right!) Thank you for these amazing stories!!! I am very much binging them, thank you very much! And don’t plan to stop! I’m reading an entire book a day at this point!

I have read all books in both series. Have a question? Where can I buy the audiobooks? I was able to listen to a couple of them and the narrator is fantastic. I would love to own them all!!

The Ghost
THE GHOST
After finishing all but the last two books in the coffee house list, I stared the ghost series. Honestly, I was hesitant about the concept. After the first chapter of the first book, The Ghost and Mrs McClure, I was hooked. I breezed through the first seven books of the ghost series, so I was thrilled to see there were two new ones.
More, more, more! I live in Ecuador, so when I order books, I have to have someone or a shipping company bring them to me. Once I get Honey Roasted #19 and Bulletproof Barista #20, I am going to read the entire series again from book 1.

I found the haunted book series first and enjoyed it and was sad they were no longer written. Glad to read they are being resurrected. Then looked and found the coffeehouse mysteries. I’m still catching up but really enjoy the stories and characters but unlike some cozy mysteries these are informative and educational. I can’t say I ever wanted to live in a big city but I am always fascinated about the lifestyle and people. Your books satisfy so many levels. Happy 20th Anniversary. Hope you can find another 20 years of stories to share with your fans!

I found the Coffeehouse series and got my mom and my daughter both hooked too. We love the characters and the recipes. I came to the website to see if I could print one out. All I can find are Recipe Guides for each book but not the actual recipe instructions. Am I missing something?

So if you turn to the back of the books, you will see the recipes. She creates the Recipe Guides for readers so that they can see what the recipes look like when they're made. Creating blends is a culinary art, and I'm happy to report that the roasters for Bishops Blend have done a masterful job at creating theirs. The beans are roasted medium dark and the package came to me (via UPS) freshly roasted, beautifully oily, and smelling of chocolate. The coffee is perfectly balanced; and as it cools, the notes include a slight vanilla flavor and a touch of cinnamon.
